Slugs and Students!

With the A-Level results published yesterday thousands of students will soon be making their way to Birmingham excited about beginning their student experience. One experience they probably won’t relish however will be the perils of student housing

Many a student has been forced to endure slugs in the kitchen or damp in the bedroom, and some even manage to survive full winters without hot water due to broken boilers! Student housing is renowned for its poor quality and its many unpleasant added extras (such as the aforementioned slugs, the occasional hefty mould situation, and the odd unavoidable smelly housemate).

Although many aspects of student life may still appeal post graduation, student housing is almost definitely not one of them. After graduation we feel it’s time for them to enter a new world of city living and find a more respectable place to lay their hat unless of course they’ve become fond of the slugs!
